Chilling and convincing presentation of Lizzie as the victim of long-time sexual abuse by an arid tightwad father whose 2nd wife hated her child rival. In the staging, Lizzie is split down the middle between her adult self, played by Paterson, and an inner child, subtly personated by 7th-grader Andrea Ross.
Citizen Kane (male old age, flash forward) Orson Welles ages 30 years in 30 seconds behind a paper, using make up effects. Orson began playing King Lear, who is meant to be over 80, when he was 10. For his first appearance on screen, in Citizen Kane at age 25, he mummified and mortified himself inside pads of sponge rubber and latex pouches; membranes like cobwebs were applied to his sagging face, and lenses with rheumy fluid covered his eyes.

The Last of the O-Forms (age stasis) James Van Pelt, 2002 short story. Caprice might look 2 years old, but she's really 12, with the soul of a middle-aged tax attorney. She will never look any older, and pretends to be the last normal, non-mutant child.
Raiders of the Lost Ark: the Adaptation (continuity errors look like mostly male AP/AR) 1982 - 1988. Some kids took upon themselves the task, from the ages of about 11 to 17, of remaking the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark, with all the same dialogue and scenes, and with the kids playing adults. Throughout the movie, the kids change ages and sizes. They go from pre-teen to teen and back. Their hair grows long and gets short again within one love scene. Their voices change. They had to explain why they spent 7 years of their lives dressing up in hats and building paper mache caves and memorizing an archaeology movie.
Currently in pre-production is a movie about the adaptation, with a script by Dan Clowes of Ghost World.
Charmed (TF's, TG AR) "Still Charmed and Kicking" 9/25/05. Piper morphs into Wyatt and the sisters morph into other women. They morph back on screen. (Sara)
Wit: A Play (flash forward, flashback) This Margaret Edson play isn't easy to stage. Scene shifts take place without a pause to let actors get their feet. Our narrator gets a pelvic exam in full view of the audience. Supporting characters double on the fly, and lead characters have to change ages from scene to scene. At the final moments, our narrator appears in front of us as naked as the day she was born.

At the end of the episode Kyla in her wolf guise is mortally wounded after crashing through the window of Lex's mansion. Clark finds the wolf in the woodlands, and he sees Kyla morph back into her human form before she dies. Unlike shows like Animorphs, Kyla is naked when she morphs into a wolf. (Clark)

At the end Isabelle goes from infant to adult. Isabelle's mom comes indoors and can't find her. Monster Girl (AR) comic, 2005 A beautiful and spoiled young woman attending a private school in Europe was cursed by a witch whose grandson she had been having an affair with. Later, on a flight home, she turned into a yellow skinned monster. Whenever she transforms, her monster form becomes larger and stronger. But when she changes back, her human form becomes younger! Rita Farr (Elasti-Girl) follows in an attempt to dissuade him. Cliff and Rita see themselves and each other as their future selves. Which causes a problem after Rita admits she loves Cliff. Persepolis 2: The Story of a Return (growth, coming of age) Marjane Satrapi, 2004. Persepolis detailed her childhood in revolutionary Iran. This second graphic book picks up in 1984 and finds the author fleeing the Iran-Iraq War for what she hopes will be a more liberating life in Vienna. Because Satrapi's adventures in Vienna take place during her teenage years, we get to witness the physical transformation of her character and girl body. In an aptly titled chapter, "The Vegetable," Satrapi writes how she grew an astounding 7 inches between the ages of 15 and 16 and then proceeds to take us on a more elaborate explanation of her other growth spurts, which include the elongation of her face and the repositioning of her beauty mark.

Getting each other's opinions at work was the excuse they used to get together. They soon had a relationship going. Connie feels a bit self conscious due to the age difference between them. So she decides to take things slowly. Connie's studies show her the region of the brain that seems to control aging. Then Connie sees Peter with his young assistant and believes (wrongly) the worst. She's sick of being treated like a little girl, and steps through the looking glass to Infinite City, home of all the Jennys who came before her. After she learns the extent of her powers, Jenny subconsciously AA AP's her body to age 14. Her dad strongly disapproves of the change. In #8, the now "adult" Jenny takes it upon herself to reunite the feuding former heroes, including her absent adoptive father, the Midnighter, to stop the machinations of Henry Bendix, the evil mastermind responsible for the Authoritys misfortunes. Angel's Wing (AP CB, RN) Manga #1 by PLEX, 04/02. Mary the Apprentice Angel loses her wings on her first trip to Earth, causing her to rapidly age from little girl to adulthood. Over 2 pages she busts out of her kids' angel robe, which resembles a pink frilly girls' nightgown. The growth happens between pages 18 and 31. A boy gives her an adult coat to cover up before she's completely naked. With the help of a bat-like critter, the adult Mary acquires a standard-issue female manga costume with the boots covering far more area than what's on the main body. The kung fu hero met the woman from the lemonade sales in front of the candy shop, who was a childhood friend. He returned to a boy. And the woman (played in her adult form by Huang Sheng-Yi) who seemed to be an acceptable love returned to a girl wearing the same skirt and white shirt and pink bow as the beautiful woman. Young Avengers (controversial CB scene) Comic #2: Kate leaves the hospital and is confronted by 13 year old Cassie Lang, (daughter of the first casualty of Disassembled, Scott Ant-Man Lang) who wants to join the Young Avengers. Shes lost everything, a father and role model, a second home and her prior life, all have been shattered by tragedy, but she has what Kate doesnt: Cassie Lang has made a choice and has a goal in life, which ties her path to Kates... they both guide each other towards their clear destiny as heroines... and this is clear from the first meeting of these young women and the young men who inspired them. Cassie and Kate try to get into Avengers' Mansion to steal Scott Lang's spare costume. Cassie intends to be the new Ant-girl. After getting inside, they come to the spot where Cassie's father was killed. Kate tries to comfort her. Cassie explains who she is, but Patriot thinks she needs to go home. In a burst of anger, Cassie arm-throws Patriot before getting more angry and growing 12 feet, shocking everyone, including herself. She wears clothes that can stretch to enormous size but underestimated the extent of her growth. The big cliffhanger sequence settles the outstanding quality of Heinbergs writing. It's so well played, both in dialogue and art, that the moment of revelation comes out of nowhere, but on a second read, it becomes perfectly obvious. Guess we can call her Giant-Girl now. Cassie's growth scene has started a controversy on several fronts. Previous reviewers have made clear that clothes expanding to avoid nudity due to Pym particle related growth spurts is pretty much mandatory if said growth spurt takes place on the body of a teen girl... they are not yielding on this. There are male readers Cassie's age that probably wanted more than the partial ripping. But older fans who have little sisters that age don't want to see that. There are major legal problems. Cheung and Dell walk a fine line while attempting to show what happened to Cassie without it being the classic: "So, why did her clothes grow with her or shrink with her?" The opening act of #3 shows Cassie Lang fainted after her power outburst, majestic yet fragile, surrounded by 3 generations of heroes. Everyone shows concern and hurries to her side, seeking the chance to aid her... watching both the experienced and the inexperienced heroes show the same reaction, yet act differently because of their difference in experience is joyful, and brings a human side to both parties.

Chevy Cobalt (AR) "Facelift" 2005 commercial. A teenaged girl is driving a red car with her middle-aged, somewhat wrinkly mother in the passenger seat. Evidently, she starts driving fast enough that the mother's face starts getting stretched out, like she's in a wind tunnel -- we see two shots of her face getting gradually more pulled. "Club-to-death Angel Dokuro-chan" In the future, a man named Sakura is destined to accidentally create the technology for eternal life, which due to his lolicon complex freezes all women's aging once they turn 12. God refuses to allow this, so he sends his angels to the past to kill Sakura before he can gift humans with eternal life. But one angel, Dokuro-chan, decides to try to change the future without killing him. Problem is, as she lives with him, Dokuro is constantly killing Sakura and lots of other people in incredibly bloody ways with her giant spiked club -- only to gruesomely kill them again the next time she loses her temper! Here she meets and befriends a young girl named CiCi (Rachel Longaker), who is very much like herself -- and who turns out to be the younger version of guess who? Based on:
Hangin' Out with Cici (flashback) 1977 Francine Pascal novel. AKA "Hanging Out with Cici" Victoria always seems to be in trouble with her mom, so her mother sends her on a train to go live with relatives for the summer. Victoria hits her head and is sent back in time to 1944. When she reads the date on a newspaper she is very scared and doesn't know what to do. She meets a girl around her age she relates to, with a streak of rebellion, who befriends her and takes her in. The reader learns that the girl is actually her mom as a teenager! They go to the soda shop, etc. Her mother is probably even a little wilder than herself (a scene with shoplifting) and otherwise very unlike the adult Cici! At the end, it is sad for the girl to come back to the present.
