Life becomes sterile, devoid of social activities, recreation, art, imagination, or sleeping, and the rhythms of life become hectic. As children have "all the time in the world", they are a difficult target: children can't be convinced that their games are time-wasting. Preteen Momo tries to restore the stolen time.

- 10-year-old Riela who lost her parents spends her days taking care of her little brother Touto. Peace-loving alien Aries gives her a strange bottle of candy. "The purple candy will make you 10 years older, and the pink candy will make you 10 years younger." One sunny holiday a group of suspicious-looking men come up to them. Riela manages to lose the chasing men and eats a purple candy, which immediately turns her into an adult. Her Melmo-costume is designed to fit at both ages. She fights the men, who, it seems, are after her bottle of candy.
- Riela as a little girl is played by Miss Maika Aoyama, who is an elementary school student in real life. I remember she played a small role for a ZEN Picture film before, and she has become a little bit more adult since then. Popular gravure idol Miss Maria Tainaka plays the adult version of Riela. It was real fun working with two talented child actors whose performances were refreshing.

He appears in front of a group to make his announcement and suddenly becomes Ed Wynn again (it is not known what happened to his clothes during the age changes). It seems the pills are temporary and work only once.
The two of them decide to offer them to people who want to be young again. There is a housewife whose husband is cheating on her with young women. She takes some pills and becomes a 19-year-old again. He finally confesses to her that he really loves his wife while she is trapped in a room becoming older again.

The male child is placed in the incubator drum and the professor leaves. The assistant places an oil lamp under the drum then goes to take a thermometer from the wall. Whilst attempting to measure the temperature he knocks over the lamp and a fire is started under the incubator. He manages to extinguish the fire just before the mother returns.
Opening the incubator reveals that the boy has been transformed into a little old man.

Baby Batman rewires the growth ray projector into a shrinking ray.
