Don Juan in Hell 2002 stage, KSU Department of Theater. From George Bernard Shaw's "Man and Superman" Old woman (Karen Robinson) wanders aimlessly through hell. Juan informs her that she no longer has to be an old lady, in fact, he says, "In hell, one can change their age at will." She immediately decides to become seventeen again, but Juan informs her that seventeen has just gone out of style. Everyone in hell's high society has decided that forty is the fashionable age of the moment, but Juan thinks they're ripe for a change and so tells her if she decided to be twenty-seven, she might be a trendsetter. She wills it so, and upon her transformation, Juan realizes that she is none other than Dona Ana, the woman whose father Juan had killed so long ago in a duel to defend her honor.
Nowhere in Africa (flash forward) Movie. Regina Redlich is just five-years-old when her father decides that it's best for the family to move to Africa. One scene that was particularly well done was when Regina is older and leaves the house in the middle of the night. The age progression of Regina's character was so flawless it seems they might have halted production for a few years so that Lea Kurka could grow up, but, indeed, she is replaced by an older actress, Karoline Eckertz.
Beanpole 1990 novel by Barbara Park. Lanky 13 year old Lillian Pinkerton, the tallest girl in school, is miserable about being a "beanpole" and a loser. She hopes that Pom Squad tryouts will prove she measures up.

Life is Journey Ca 2003 compilation of four short stories by Seiichi Tanabe. Nene Otsuka, Ra-mens, Mikako Ichikawa. "Life" is an experimental, innovative short film portraying seventy years of a woman's life without a single spoken line, in a one-scene, one-cut, nine-minute sequence. A woman walks. While she walks, she sees the man she will eventually meet in the future - as a young child. In time, the two meet and their footsteps become one. She walks through countless events and timeless landscapes, continually, ceaselessly. And in the shift of time, the woman discovers something... The theme is "Life" itself, and various life events are symbolically expressed through the 15 characters, that simply "walk". Director Tanabe held this thematic idea in incubation for nearly 10 years. After numerous takes, the final product lived up to Tanabe's visionary expectations. The second, underlying theme is "Life is like a film that can't be edited".

The Works of Nobuyoshi Araki 5 - Chrysalis Nr 5 in 20-volume series. 1996 Heibonsha ISBN: 4582664059, B/W A5, 190 pp. Portraits of underage Japanese girls. For the young subjects, Araki has fulfilled the fantasy of every little girl: to be a woman now. For a girl, what's more frustrating than wanting to be a woman but discovering that you're still not old enough? Most normal kids at one time or another want to be like adults. They may wear their parents' clothes or even start smoking. Araki has thoroughly helped these little girls fulfill their ultimate fantasy of becoming a woman. He put adult make-up on these girls, dressed them like a woman, and posed them seductively in bed, in skimpy clothing. The subjects range in age from about 6 to 17. Araki also steps on the vulgar and cheap-shot borderline with banana-in-the-mouth shots and the too-frequent, hiked-up dress revealing underwear. We cannot deny the fact that young girls always want to look older and older girls (women) want to look younger. Araki carries the former to the ultimate extreme.

From the moment Patricia Barker was revealed onstage as the adult Clara, the evening became unforgettable. With her hair loose, she seemed to be dancing with pure joy, already airborne as her romantically attentive Nutcracker prince, Stanko Milov, lofted her into dramatic high lifts.

The Last Man on Planet Earth 1999 movie. Geneticist clones a man in futuristic Earth ruled by women. The clone, named Adam, begins as a baby and ages 1 year per day. The scenes used different boys to show the progression of age. There was a scene where Adam was standing naked and wakes the geneticist saying: "Sorry to wake you. None of my clothes fit." Earthbeat (male) Stage, 1999. Oguri and Adam Rudolph at Electric Lodge in Venice. Obsession with transformation and the weight of time. Virtuoso drumming and unsparing dance depict our shifting relationship with our bodies. Superbly controlled portrayal of infirmity. Oguri depicts pain and desperation in choreography that mindlessly celebrates beauty and prowess using 18- to 32-year-old dancing athletes and deliberately ignoring the realities of other ages or conditions in life. Amazing sequences showed his face aging, decaying, growing skull-like and then young again as in a time-lapse or special-effect film sequence.
