The Twilight Zone (1985)

TV Series: Season 01; Episode #10: "Wish Bank"

I just caught a piece of a show that I had started to tape that had AR potential but veered away (New Twilight Zone - 1985) where a woman finds a magic lamp at a yard sale. She rubs it and ends up in a bank like setting where an 'account manager' doles out wishes. One wish was to be or look 10 yrs younger but there was a problem with her wish(es) and in frustration she says 'I wish I'd never found that lamp' and THAT wish is immediately granted) .

The Twilight Zone (1985)

TV Series: Season 02; Episode #04: "Aqua Vida"

A bottled water company supplied water that kept it's users young, A young looking coworker confessed her true age (50's I think but looked 25) to a friend and the gave her the company's business card. Seems the friend was 30ish. She had the water delivered to her home and paid for it. She loved it at first BUT (there’s always a 'but' ;-) ) found out that without it she rapidly OA'd past her real age. She had to continually use the water or turn elderly before her time.

Memory time...it seems that the husband used it too. It also seems that at the end they both decide to be old together rather than continue buying the water. Not sure about that ending at all... could be confusing it with something else.

- Time

First, something old: In the 'New Twilight Zone' description of the episode of the magic water that makes a female TV anchor look younger than her actual age, Louder is correct about the husband taking the water too. When she confesses to her husband that when the water wears off, she looks much older than her actual age (and doesn't want to pay the increasing cost of the water), he drinks some too so they'll both eventually look old together.

He explains that he loves her so much, he wants to get old with her. And the episode ends with both covered with fairly good age makeup (looking about 60) sitting on a park bench feeding pigeons and looking lovingly at each other. The episode's title is 'Aqua Vida' and was originally aired on CBS on October 10, 1986.
