Strange Adventures #163

Comic Book: DC: "How Can Time Be Stopped?" (April)

Star Rovers are aged into old age.

Star Rovers story, April 1964.
Aliens have devices that put enemies out of commission by either aging or regressing them for a period of time. Home gets the aging treatment and Karel the youthening treatment, and leader Rick has to choose which device to destroy as he only has fuel to do one mission. He chooses to destroy the youthening device as he deduces that because she was wearing rubber boots at the time she contacted the machine and thus didn't get the full effect and was youthening much slower than if she got the full effect. Thus one stood a better chance of youthening out of existence and aging during the period of effect of the machine.
