Eragon
Novel: Inheritance Cycle, Book 01
In the past there used to be magical stuff and dragons. Eragon finds a dragon egg. Toward the end of the book, a baby girl is given a cursed blessing which later will age her.

Eragon was a 2006 motion picture very loosely based upon Eragon, the first book of the Inheritance cycle.
Saphira the dragon flies with the help of Eragon, who throws her up in the air. During the flight, she becomes fully grown, and starts speaking to Eragon through her thoughts. Saphira declares her name to Eragon after her growth. Elva was completely omitted from the film, even though she plays a very important role in Eldest.

The land of Alagaesia is suffering under the Empire of the wicked Galbatorix, and Eragon and his dragon Saphira, last of the Riders, are the only hope. But Eragon is young and has much to learn, and so he is sent off to the elven forest city of Ellesmera, where he and Saphira are tutored in magic, battle skills, and the ancient language by the wise former Rider Oromis and his elderly dragon Glaedr. Meanwhile, back at Carvahall, Eragon's home, his cousin Roran is the target of a siege by the hideous Ra'zac, and he must lead the villagers on a desperate escape over the mountains. The two narratives move toward a massive battle with the forces of Galbatorix, where Eragon learns a shocking secret about his parentage and commits himself to saving his people. Blessed cursed girl grows up to play her role in life. Elva aged rapidly, having the appearance of a four-year-old in a matter of weeks and she spoke in the voice of a grown woman. By the end of Book 4, Inheritance, she will have grown some more, but is chronologically only 3 years old.

Elva's growth/maturation leveled off once she reached the point where she was able to start interacting with her environment and being able to protect people from their pain. Once that happened, there wasn't any reason for her spell/curse to accelerate her growth any further.

Sieh, the eldest godling and the child God, befriends the twin brother and sister children of the ruler of the Arameri. Somehow this triggers a disastrous transformation, rendering him mortal and aging very rapidly. There are several instances when Sieh ages decades in a matter of hours.
- Trickster Sieh, the god of childhood, usually takes the form of a prepubescent child, though he sometimes ages himself up to teen. Thanks to really being millenia old and open about the physical and psychological horrors he's suffered, it's unsettling to have a child looking at you with murder in his eyes. He can also turn into a cat.
- After the end of Book 3, Itempas (Shiny) returns to Oree to Grow Old. He's even aged himself up a bit already.
- Yeine Arameri is an Absurdly Youthful Mother: After she absorbs Enefa's essence, she becomes technically Sieh's mother, despite being a significant fraction of his age. She later describes the godlings as stepchildren. She becomes a mother figure to Sieh, whom she has maternal feelings for because he was Enefa's child.
- Nahadoth doesn't have a "true" form, because it's always changing. "And then the face shifted again into something that in no way resembled human, something tentacled and toothed and hideous, and I screamed. Then there was only darkness where his face should have been, and that was most frightening of all." His most common humanoid form is of a very attractive man with pale skin and black hair. He's so good in bed that it is actually lethal to most mortals.

- Glee Shoth looks about thirty. She's actually nearly a hundred, and she's got quite a few years left in her yet.
